This  adorable star baby has a hand painted face, a soft body and a sweet star cap. The doll can be removed from the bed and played with separately or tucked baack into it's cozy fleece musical star bed, which plays a calming lullaby when the wooden ring on the string is pulled.  Music has several benefits for child development, helps promote comfort, quality of sleep and brain development.  Some say that the bed is not intended for play.   The face is hand painted with simple, Waldorf-inspired features.

Nanchen Dolls have been hand made in a small workshop in Martinhagen/Schauenburg, Germany since 1983. No less than 15 employees work on producing Nanchen Dolls. The doll’s faces are hand-painted directly in the workshop. Due to the dolls being handmade,  there will be slight variations.  Made from organic materials.
