All of the Senger Cuddly Animals include a removable cotton cushion, which is filled with organic spelt husks in the large cuddly animals or with cherry pits in the small cuddly animals. The cherry pits are perfect for warming and cooling, and especially our stuffed animal geese have shown that adults also appreciate a loyal companion, either as a travel pillow, nursing pillow, or sofa helper. Every single cuddly toy uniquely provides a comfort to children of all ages through warmth or cooling: the closeness of the faithful companion also contributes to the feeling of being surrounded by love. Everything is better with a cuddly friend, whether it's a stomach ache, headache, flu, or cold.

Crafted with long-term companionship in mind, this seal is designed to evolve alongside your children. The natural organic fibers are highly durable yet incredibly responsive to touch. The more the seal is hugged, carried, and played with, the softer and more pliable its outer shell and cozy interior become. Over years of love, it breaks in beautifully, transforming from a simple toy into a perfectly molded, ultra-soft heirloom unique to your child.

This large seal is a gentle protector of a child's sensory world, acting as both a reassuring friend and a deeply comforting thermal pillow.

Grounding Weight:  A calming grounding weight tucked discreetly inside its belly is a hidden zipper holding a removable cotton pouch filled with natural, organic spelt husks. The substantial, grounding weight of the spelt provides a gentle physical presence that naturally helps soothe anxious minds and anchors little ones into a deep, restful sleep during bedtime transitions.

Loving Warmth:  Reflecting Natural Body Warmth :

Spelt husks are naturally airy and act as a beautiful organic thermal insulator. Even without being heated, the husks absorb, hold, and gently reflect your child's own natural body heat during a cuddle, creating a continuous circle of cozy warmth and absolute security.

Spelt is an ancient heirloom grain, and Senger utilizes the organic spelt husks- the light, protective outer hulls of the grain-to fill the large seals thermal cushion. This unique natural material provides extraordinary benefits for your children:

-Fluid Contour Molding:  Because the husks are loose, hollow, and feather-light, the inner cushion behaves like a soft beanbag. It instantly shifts and contours to perfectly mold against your childs tummy or chest when they wrap their arms around it.

-Deeply Radiating Thermal Relief: The tiny, curved shape of each husk traps pockets of air, allowing the cushion to absorb warmth from the oven and slowly release a deeply soothing, radiating heat that stays warm for longer that synthetic alternatives.

-A Comforting Earthy Aroma:  When warmed the natural spelt husks release a very subtle, cozy scent reminiscent of fresh straw or warm, freshly baked bread. This gentle aromatherapy calms a child's nervous system and signals that it is time to rest.

The removable warming cushions with specialized natural fillings tailored for perfect temperature therapy:

The Large Grey Cuddly Animals Seal:

Filled with natural, airy organic spelt husks inside the removable cotton pouch. This large cushion provides a wonderfully thick, comforting blanket of warmth when heated gently in a conventional oven or a soothing compress when placed in the freezer. (Note: Spelt husks should only be warmed in the oven)

To Warm:  Warm gently in a conventional oven at 165-170 degrees F (75 degrees C) for 2-3 minutes.

TO HEAT SAFELY: Always preheat and then turn off the oven before placing the pouch inside, wrap the pouch inside a clean towel to protect it from hot baking racks. Place a small oven-safe cup or ramekin of water on a baking sheet right next to the pouch-this creates gentle ambient moisture, so the organic husks never dry out, scorch, or lose their flexibility. (NOTE: Spelt husks should only be warmed in the oven-never the microwave-to protect the natural grains from burning).

To Cool:

Place the inner pouch into the fridge or freezer inside a clean, sealed bag for about 30 minutes to transform the seal into a gentle, cooling compress to soothe fevers comfort minor bumps, or bring a refreshing chill to hot summer nights.

The Small Grey Cuddly Animals Seals:

Senger fills the smaller seals with an eminent little pillow containing natural cherry stones (cherry pits) or grape seeds. Unlike the airy spelt husks which warm up via trapped pockets of air, these solid fruit seeds physically absorb and lock in temperature. Because the seeds themselves hole the thermal energy, the smaller seals actually retain their heat or cold significantly longer the the large spelt pillows.

-The Cherry Stones: Offer a slightly heavier, tactile "beanbag" feel that creates a gentle comforting massage effect when cuddled against a little ones tummy.

-The Grape Seeds: Are exceptionally small, round, and fine, giving the cushion a remarkably fluid, sand like texture that contours flawlessly to tiny bodies.

Both seed variants can be effortlessly warmed up in the oven or briefly on low in the microwave for 30-60- second to create a quick and cozy naptime companion to hug, Alternatively, simply pop the inner seed pouch into the fridge of freezer to keep your little ones perfectly cool on warmer nights.

-Thermal Therapy:  Heat or cool according to the detailed, American-oven safe instructions provided in the sections above. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before giving it to a child.

-Safe & Chemical Free:  Handcrafted to GOTS-Certified standards. Free from toxic dyes, bleaches, or harmful chemicals-completely safe for teething children.

-Gentle Washing:  Hand-wash the outer cotton plush with lukewarm water and mild soap. Lay flat on an absorbent towel to air dry Always remove the natural seed pouch first. Never machine wash or tumble dry.
